Welcome to the St Mary's Calne Sports Club Fitness Suite.
Our Fitness Suite was renovated in September 2015 and with the extension of the room itself we now boast a larger free weights section, new functional area and new state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment.
With experienced and motivating fitness instructors on hand to provide their professional guidance, you'll be on the path toward achieving your goal in no time.
Kick Start Member Journey
Are you struggling to find the motivation to exercise or are you just in need of a kick start in the right direction?
Our new member induction programme is designed to give you the kick start you need. Whether you are joining us for the first time or you are a returning customer - take advantage of this journey and start on the road to achieving your goals today
Step One – Consultation and Induction
When you join we will book you on to your complimentary one to one consultation and induction with one of our highly qualified fitness instructors.
From there, the instructor will guide you through some goal setting and an optional body composition assessment before proceeding to show you how to safely and effectively use the equipment found in our fitness suite.
This session will last approximately 30-60 minutes.
Step Two – FREE 4 Week Kickstart Programme
Following your initial induction, you have the option to book in with the same fitness instructor who will then help create a workout programme tailored to your needs.
Your instructor will already have a feel for your strengths and possible weaknesses and can therefore recommend the most suitable plan for you.
This session will last approximately 60 minutes.
Step Three – Programme Review & Free Personal Training Taster Session
After around 4 to 6 weeks following your kickstart session, we will look back at your progress since joining the club!
This is an opportunity to re-evaluate your goals and provides you with a short taster of what bespoke one to one coaching is like.
If you enjoy yourself and want to continue, please speak to your trainer who can discuss pricing and personal training packages.
This session will last approximately 45-60 minutes.

Junior Gym
We also like to encourage our young members, so children aged between 13 - 16 years are able to visit the gym during any of the Junior Gym sessions. They are also welcome outside of these times, so long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Junior Gym sessions are clearly shown on the Fitness Suite programme.
If a child member would like to use the Fitness Suite, we can book them in for a Junior Induction. There are some pieces of equipment that may not be suitable for juniors, so we will talk them through everything they need to know, making sure that they are safe and confident they know what they can use.
