Club Manager's Welcome
Welcome to St Mary's Calne Sports Club. Our objective is to provide a warm welcoming service, promoting a culture and ethos of health & well-being and to create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
St Mary's Calne Sports Club believes in sporting excellence in all genres of sport. As a school community, we strive to offer first class sporting facilities amidst a culture of high education, expectation and sports science. We seek to provide, nurture and develop the concept of high performance and healthy lifestyles.
Our pool dimensions are 25m x 13m with a wide range of sessions from Fun & Floats, the Obliterator inflatable, lane swimming, member swim, Swim Fit and Swim Smart. Our changing rooms are well sized with electronic keypad lockers. No coins or key bands necessary. Separate family and disabled changing rooms are available!
Our Fitness Suite is fully equipped with the state of the art Technogym equipment including upright bikes, cross trainers, treadmills, skillmill, rowers, varios & crossovers. Our functional area is fully equipped with top of the range Kinesis One, balance boards, water balls, slam balls, medicine balls, functional weights & TRX. Our weights area is fully equipped with a half Olympic squat rack, dual action pulley, plate loaded leg press, dumbbells, barbells and a wide range of resistance machines.
Your membership includes a 4 week programme tailored to your specific goals/targets.

This class incorporates yoga postures, gentle movement sequences, breath work, supported silent meditation, and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and body.
Legs, bums and tums is a full body aerobic workout that aims to tone up your thighs, bum and stomach, great for those who want to lose weight or even for those who simply want to improve their fitness levels.
Mat-based Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility.
GRIT is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout program that consists of three separate classes: Strength, Athletic, and Cardio. Each 30-minute session focuses on different fitness objectives.
LES MILLS SPRINT ™ is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It's a short, intense style of training.
Led by a trained instructor, you can expect a full-body workout that combines cardio and strength-training exercises. You don't need to be a strong swimmer: you'll always be able to reach the pool floor as you jump, kick, and lunge your way through a class.
BODYATTACK ™ is a high-energy, fun and athletic workout focused on cardio fitness, stamina and agility. Combining athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats.
Zumba® is an interval-style dance fitness party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves. You'll burn lots of calories as you move to the rhythm.
Swim Fit combines endurance, stroke technique and a fun group environment to ensure that all participants make big improvements. Swimmers develop the four competitive strokes, starts and turns while improving endurance through drills and kick work.
HIIT is a type of interval training exercise. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between several minutes of high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate.
Body Conditioning combines cardio and resistance work to an energetic beat to work out your whole body. With a range of exercise techniques that includes aerobics, floor work, weights and resistance training.
Unlike traditional Pilates and yoga sessions, PiYo is set up like a cardio class, designed to burn calories and make you sweat. Choreographed sequences that are sped up to maximize results.
Step aerobics is a classic cardio workout. You step up, around, and down from the platform in different patterns to boost your heart rate and breathing, and strengthen your muscles.
In a circuits class, you move round the room in small groups trying different exercises and activities for short periods of time, taking on cardio, resistance and strength training activities at various stations.
Our incredible new climbing wall is now open to the public for weekly Clip 'n' Climb sessions (for adults and children!) and we have added a brand new children's party option for children aged 5-17 years!
Our 34 x 20 meter Sports Hall has been designed to accommodate a variety of different sports in one space. Offering one of the most versatile indoor sports facilities in Wiltshire, our Sports Hall provides an optimal space for casual use, training, club practice and competition.
